Payment for all bookings must be made in full at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session.
Where a package is selected, payment for the complete package must be made in full at least 24 hours prior to the first scheduled session.
In the event of an appointment being cancelled by you within 24 hours of the scheduled session, Marilu reserves the right to charge in full for the cancelled session, or such cancellation may be subject to an administration charge. In either circumstance, Marilu may exercise her discretion on a case by case basis and no previous exercise of such discretion shall be binding on her in any way.
At your request, Marilu may video your session, and provide you with a link to such recording. You agree that no such video, or any other recording of your session or any part thereof may be published or shared by you by any means and at any time in the future unless otherwise agreed in writing between you and Marilu. Marilu also agrees not to make public or share any video or recording or part thereof by any means save as may legally required for the safety of you or others. Marilu reserves the right to take any action as may be appropriate in the event of any unauthorised disclosure under this clause.
Neither Emotional Freedom Technique, nor any guidance Marilu may offer in relation to lifestyle, homework, homeopathic remedies, flower remedies, specific exercises, nutritional advice nor any other modality is intended to be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or disorder.
Neither Emotional Freedom Technique, nor any guidance Marilu may offer in relation to lifestyle, homework, homeopathic remedies, flower remedies, specific exercises, nutritional advice nor any other modality are substitutes for advice or treatment from a qualified and authorised medical or other health-care professional. It is always recommended that you consult your medical practitioner.
The purchase of any remedies, any supplements and/or any other benefit of any description to which Marilu may refer and which you may decide to try is made at your own expense and Marilu shall not be responsible for any such costs or ancilliary expenses.
Your health is your responsibility and Marilu recommends the importance of your personal self-care, especially when undertaking any sort of health treatment, whether main stream, traditional, complementary, holistic or any other modality
Confidentiality Agreement:
Your identity is confidential; session content is confidential. I will not speak to anyone about you unless you are present and/or give signed consent and/or I’m taking confidential professional supervision.
However, certain situations can override your confidentiality. For example, if you are involved in court action, your file can be subpoenaed for court. If you make statements in session that a child or an elderly or disabled person has been abused or neglected, I am required by law to report that information to the appropriate authorities. I am also required to report the law being broken in relation to terrorism, drug trafficking and money laundering. If you make statements that indicate you intend to harm yourself or others, I may report that information to medical personnel, family, or law enforcement. In any case, you will be advised of the action immediately when it is taken.
